Step Into God’s Abundance

This isn’t just a retreat — it’s a divine appointment of Obedience.
Over three powerful days, you will be invited to immerse yourself in the life-transforming power of God’s Presence, sharpen your hearing, and respond to the voice of God. Through the uncompromising truth of His Word, Spirit-led worship, and prayer that shifts atmospheres, hearts will be realigned and lives recalibrated to walk in full obedience to the Lord.
This is a holy moment to lay down striving, delayed responses, and empty sacrifices, and to embrace the freedom that comes from saying “yes” to God. Receive fresh clarity, renewed strength, and divine direction for the season ahead.
Stand shoulder to shoulder with women who are choosing obedience over comfort, faith over fear, and surrender over control. Together, we will encourage, strengthen, and sharpen one another as we walk this journey of faith.
Choose obedience.
Respond to His voice.
Step into the purpose God is releasing in this season.

Vanessa has been married to her husband, Terrence, for 36 years. Together they have two children and a daughter-in-love, and she is a proud grandmother to two gorgeous grandchildren.
Vanessa, alongside her husband and children, serves on the leadership team of a local church in Durban. As a family, they have been actively involved in various departments within the church and are deeply committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of every member of their congregation.
She began her professional journey as a social worker at Johannesburg Child Welfare, before continuing to build her experience with Child Welfare agencies in Durban over the next five years. In 1995, Vanessa stepped into a pivotal role as a resident social worker at a leading children’s home, where she helped establish a strong foundation for what would later become the Child Care department. Her passion has always been centred on providing quality care for children declared in need of care by the Children’s Court, many of whom have faced abuse, neglect, and abandonment.
As her focus shifted toward raising her own family, Vanessa transitioned into teaching, where she continued to invest in the lives of children, just in a different way. After several years in education, and a season living abroad in New Zealand, Vanessa returned to her first love: child care. Through voluntary work and her service on the Ethelbert Child and Youth Care Centre board, she once again immersed herself in this vital field of child care.
In 2014, Vanessa was appointed Director, and to this day, she continues to dedicate her life to the organisation, faithfully serving alongside her family. Vanessa is described by her colleagues as a woman of deep compassion, unwavering faith, and a life devoted to serving others.
